More Sights to See in Ljubljana, Slovenia
You can rent bicycles to get around, take the tourist train which travels between the center and Ljubljana Castle via the Triple Bridge and the Stritarjeva ulica, Poljanska ulica and Ulica Janeza Pavla II streets or walk around. (Try to say those street names!) The tourist train departs from the Presernov trg square (the main square) every hour on the hour, and from Castle Hill every hour at 20 minutes past the hour.

and many locally made souvenirs. The baskets and other items are actually made for local use, not just as a tourist attraction.
There is also a general walking tour of Ljubljana which starts in front of the Baroque Town Hall building. We went inside to look at the Atrium, famous for its arches and the Narcissus Fountain.

The day flew by but there was time for one more walk around the City, and its squares - Presernov trg , Mestni trg, and Stari trg, repack and get ready for some serious exercise.
