Travels With Sheila wrote an earlier article about Albania and thought you would be interested in knowing that the ex-Marine (husband, Steve) and I are definitely heading to Albania in July. There are a few different tour companies operating tours to Albania. Explore U.K. (check out the itinerary on the Adventure Center Finder to your left as you read this post) and KE Adventure Travel just to name two with more companies doing their planning. But we opted to travel with Outdoor Albania.

Outdoor Albania is a specialist travel agency, located in Tirana, who has been operating since 1992. If you'd like a cultural trip, their guides will take you to ancient ruins, legendary castles, battle fields, churches, monasteries and medieval mosques to help understand one of the oldest cultures of the Mediterranean.

Albania may not be on your radar yet but it will be. A few different tour operators either are visiting Albania now, for example, Explore U.K. (check out the itinerary on the Adventure Center Finder to your left as you read this post) who has a cultural exploration of Albania. Others are working on future plans.
